How To Apply

Steps to the Application Process for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade:
 

  1. Complete the online application by clicking here.
     
  2. Gather the required documents listed below to complete your child’s application file. Information on how and when to submit these documents will be emailed to you after the online application has been submitted.
     
    • Birth Certificate
       
    • Immunization Records (yellow card or printout from physician)
       
    • Baptismal Certificate (for Catholic students only)
       
    • First Communion Certificate (for Catholic students entering Grade 3 and above only)
       
    • The most current Report Card or Progress Report (required for students applying for 1st - 8th grade)
       
  3. After submission and review of the online application, an appointment will be scheduled for the grade level assessment.
     
  4. Admission decision will be emailed to you within a week after the grade level assessment appointment. If your child is accepted for enrollment, an acceptance letter along with the Admission/Registration Requirements will be sent to you by email.
     
  5. For students accepted for enrollment, the final step in the admissions process is registration. Our registration consists of completion of the online registration forms, tuition account set up, and family service sign up.

 

All students applying to St. John the Baptist Catholic School for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten must meet the following age criteria: No exceptions can or will be made.

Grade Level Age Criteria
Transitional Kindergarten 4 years old by September 1
Kindergarten 5 years old by September 1


Note: Acceptance is based on age requirement for the grade applied for and specific criteria of readiness and performance. Exceptions cannot be made on the age requirement.
