Admissions

Applications for the new school year become available on the last Sunday of January during Catholic Schools Week. An Open House is held which provides an opportunity for guests to meet the teachers, visit the classrooms and become acquainted with the campus. After submission and review of the application, students will be scheduled to take an entrance test. Following acceptance, formal registration is held in May. An appointment time is set for each family during which parents meet with a representative of St. John's Parent Teacher Group (PTG), the school Secretary and Bookkeeper. The process includes the following areas:

    1. PTG activities, payment of PTG dues, PTG Fundraising Obligation and PTG Family Service programs.
    2. Personal paperwork required for each student:
      • Immunization Record with proof of DTP and polio vaccines, MMR, Hib Meningitis, Hepatitis B, and TB PPD Mantoux.
      • Physical Examination by a physician.
      • Copy of a birth certificate.
      • Copy of baptismal certificate.
      • Emergency health information.
      • For grades 1-8, copy of most recent report card
    3. Financial obligation arrangements:
      • Payment of registration fees.
      • F.A.C.T.S. contract for the automatic deduction of monthly tuition and building fund payments.
