Thank you to all of the families who attended our first ever Movie Night last night. Special thanks to those who volunteered and helped with set-up, clean-up, bagging of popcorns & cotton candies, and manning the concession stand. The homemade waffles by Theresa Vu (Albert's mom) was a hit! It was great to have our alums Riane Abaya & Kaila Silveira volunteer (one way to fulfill required community service hours). Great job everyone! It was a success because of you!

ATTN: All SJBS Alumni...The burying of the time capsule is scheduled on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Alumni students are welcome to include something individually or as a group (with your graduating class). Contents of the time capsule from 1992 are currently displayed in the library. You are more than welcome to come by to see the personal & class items that you placed in the capsule 20 years. ago. In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, we are pleased to offer our St. John School families & friends the ability to have names inscribed on beautiful bricks so we can all be remembered forever! You may have your 4 x 8 brick inscribed with your family name & years of attendance at St. John’s, name of a loved one, a wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduating year, or in memory of a loved one.

Our 25th Anniversary celebration is finally here! Looking forward to seeing our SJBS families & friends. SJBS Alumni t-shirts, 25th Anniversary Commemorative shirts & canvass bags will be available for purchase. Support our Peace Garden Project by buying laser engraved bricks. Proceeds will benefit our school Scholarship Fund. Come and join us and let us all make this a memorable event.

25th Anniversary Celebration update...due to concerns with the condition of the time capsule contents, we've decided to open the time capsule earlier than planned. You will be happy to know that ALL of the items placed in the capsule had survived and ALL are in great condition. Are you anxious to see them yet? Come to St. John's and join us in CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF GROWING IN FAITH AND EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION. Saturday, Oct. 8th at Noon. See you there!

Join St. John the Baptist School on Saturday, October 8, 2011 as we celebrate 25 Years of Excellence in Education! The celebration will begin with a Mass at noon, followed by blessing of the school buildings and a simple reception in the hall. Items from the time capsule buried 20 years ago and other memorabilia will be displayed in the hall as well. We hope to see you there.
